If you love cooking and tired of trying to mince garlic by hand or cut it in little pieces so you don’t bite on a bog chuck of garlic then this Garlic press is for YOU. All you have to do is to peel the garlic put it in the device and press it and it comes out most paste like and you can add to your favorite dishes. It is perfect for soups, pastas and all sorts of sauces, there is no limit where and how you can use it. The press does require you to at least start the crushing process using two hands as the handles of the press are quite far away when you are crushing larger cloves. After you are partially done pressing the garlic you can use one hand. The handles were comfortable and easy to use.
The clean up is very easy too. You rinse it under the running water or it is dishwasher safe. Press is strongly built and the flip out basket made it easy to rinse out the press. After pressing the garlic most of the cleanup was done by simply rinsing the press in warm water for a few seconds. I gave it two or three swipes with a cleaning brush and it was as clean as new. The unit comes with the cleaning brush included. This unit is also dishwasher safe.
I especially love the design. Growing up we used to have a garlic press but it was very bulky and heavy and it was most impossible to find a spot for it. This garlic press is very light and modern and fits perfectly in my utensil holder. It is a great investment for those who really love cooking!
